Thermage® is a non-invasive radiofrequency (RF) therapy that can help smooth, tighten, and contour skin on the eyelids, skin around the eyes, face, and body by using energy to stimulate your body’s own collagen.
Full results are typically noticeable after 6 months as collagen production increases, leading to skin tightening and wrinkle reduction. Individual experiences may vary. Yearly treatments can help maintain your results.
Thermage® treatments can cause discomfort, but the level of pain varies among individuals. Some people may experience a sensation of heat or a brief, deep-heating feeling with each pulse of the radiofrequency energy.
Common side effects of Thermage® are usually mild and temporary. They can include redness, swelling, blisters, bumps, and minor pain at the treatment site. These side effects typically resolve within a few days.
Recovery from Thermage® is minimal, as it is a non-invasive procedure. Some patients have temporary redness or minor swelling after treatment, but this usually goes away within 24 hours.
Thermage® uses radiofrequency waves to warm up the deepest parts of the skin. It works in two ways — by tightening the collagen in the skin and helping the skin grow from the inside out. On a cellular level, it remodels the skin so that it becomes thicker, healthier, and more robust. Thermage can even be used on areas recently treated with fillers and may be combined with other cosmetic procedures.
You can combine your Thermage® treatment with many other cosmetic procedures, including injectables and fillers. Thermage can even target areas that have recently been treated with fillers.*
